Christia Stockmann and his group are trying to understand how different immune cell subsets contribute to organ homeostasis as well as the balance between adequate tissue repair and fibrosis. 

Based single cell-omics, transgenic preclinical mouse model and tissue-specific gene targeting, the group is developing immunotherapeutic approaches to enhance tissue regeneration and the resolution of fibrosis.
